DATA SPECIALIST TECHNICIAN

As a result of continued growth, we currently have an opening in our Electronic Discovery Operations area for a Technician on the Data Specialists Team located in Kansas City, MO. Overview:

The ideal candidate for Technician, Data Specialist, will be a self-starter with strong communication skills, technical knowledge, solid troubleshooting skills, a detail orientation, and an eagerness to learn new skills. You must be comfortable working as a member of a team in a fast paced environment, where the ability to communicate effectively across teams, multitask and troubleshoot is essential.

REQUIREMENTS

• Solid understanding of computers
• Proficiency with MS Windows Environment
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office and common Windows-based file types
• Ability to work both independently or as part of a team
• Strong technical skills including the ability to troubleshoot problems.
• Strong attention to detail 

• Ability to multi-task and comfortable under tight deadlines
• Ability to sit for long periods of time 

• Flexibility with hours; willingness to work overtime when required 

• Occasional weekend work 



ADVANTAGES 


• Experience with E-Discovery platforms & deliverables
• Concordance, IPRO, Summation, Ringtail, Discovery Cracker 

• Database experience – SQL Server & MySQL

• Experience with one or more of the following server based email packages:
• Exchange
• GroupWise
• Lotus Notes.
