American Data Services has committed significant financial and technical resources toward creating a secure environment for the processing of client data. We’ve created an infrastructure designed to prevent unauthorized access of our production networks. More than the use of firewalls, state of the art design has been implemented to build secure, robust and scalable networks specifically designed to house and process your sensitive forensic data. Accompanying our network, American Data Services has created a set of written policies and well-defined processes to define the operating guidelines for securing client data, as well as well as building in appropriate checks into each process to ensure policy compliance.

We currently house and process our data through two strategically located collocation facilities located in Kansas City, Missouri and Houston, Texas. Our Kansas City data center was recently recognized as being the first and the only hosting facilities in the country singled out by VISA for meeting CISP security standards based on "industry best" practices focused on maintaining the confidentiality of cardholder data. The VISA CISP standard (and succeeding PCI standard) sets a compliance level equal to or greater than any other regulatory or industry standard.

Our Houston data center has been recognized as one of the very few buildings in the state as being USGBC-certified sustainable, or “green”. Green buildings adhere to strict design, construction, and operational standards determined by the USGBC, aimed at promoting environmental responsibility. Our facility was also recognized as one of the state’s "Best Private/Corporate Building of 2006" by Texas Construction Magazine. Both data centers boast extensive security and power protocols including biometric authentication readers, key card access, 24x7x360 video surveillance, full backup onsite generators, UPS battery backup systems and air and humidity controls.
